Rooms in the main house
The en-suite rooms are beautifully furnished in
contemporary African style. There is television, the facility to make
fresh African coffee and tea, and, when available, tasty home – cooked
treats to welcome you.
A special note for the
allergy sufferer: all the rooms have
either wooden floors or are tiled.

Amawele Room
|
A lovely cheerful sunny room, which is ideal for older children
travelling with their parents, or the business traveller who would
prefer not to pay a single person supplement. It does not have
en-suite facilities, though it is in close proximity to a private
bathroom. This slight inconvenience is reflected in the price of the
room.

Breakfast
The
sun drenched deck, overlooking the Langeberg mountains, is where guests are
served a legendary breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble for your hosts,
who go out of their way to ensure that special dietary requests are met, and
that no-one leaves the table hungry. Everything is freshly prepared - the
oranges squeezed to make juice, fantastic fresh fruit salad, yoghurt,
muffins, cheese, cold meats, 'proper' coffee, a choice of teas - all these
are just in preparation for David's stunning full English Breakfast - eggs
prepared just exactly to your own liking. And - to top all that - you can
choose whatever time you would like it!

Garden
While
you feast on your sumptuous breakfast, you can enjoy not only the view of
the stunning Langeberg mountain range, but also the sensory indigenous
garden, which is designed for everyone to enjoy, with wide paths for
wheelchair users and fragrances and textures which those with visual
impairment can particularly appreciate. The colourful garden is one to
which a huge variety of birdlife is attracted, and binoculars and a bird
book are always a close at hand to settle curiosity about unusual visitors
to the garden!
