The en-suite rooms are beautifully furnished in contemporary African style. There is television, the facility to make fresh African coffee and tea, and, when available, tasty home-cooked treats to welcome you. And we are pet-friendly!
A special note for the allergy sufferer: all the rooms have either wooden floors or are tiled.
The Zebra Room
The collective noun for a group of Zebras is, apparently, a “dazzle” – and guests at Impangele are always dazzled by the quirky Zebra room – its black and white theme is extremely restful, and the more adventurous guests are often to be seen at breakfast disporting the zebra bathrobes and hats which are available. This room has been designed to ensure that wheelchair users are completely comfortable – with plenty of room to manoeuvre and a wet room en-suite, with portable grab rails to be placed wherever required. You can choose to have a king sized bed, or twin beds. The Zebra room also has TV, complimentary tea / coffee / biscuits and liqueurs, bathrobe and slippers, and free wi-fi Internet access. The view from the window looks over the valley, and, in the forefront, the plunge pool.
The Giraffe Room
No tourist worth their salt will be seen boarding a plane in Cape Town without a bubble wrapped giraffe-shaped parcel tucked under their arm. If you have a full suitcase already, then the Giraffe Room will give you a giraffe experience you can take home in your heart. Because this room is slightly smaller then the other two rooms, it is a good budget option – though it offers some additional extras– you can choose between a king sized bed or twin beds, there is a DVD player with a selection of films, and this room also has an en-suite bath with overhead shower. There is complimentary tea / coffee / biscuits and liqueurs and free wifi internet access. The Giraffe room is a sunny room overlooking the indigenous garden.
The Leopard Room
Two people can luxuriate in the space afforded by this huge room, distinguished by its beautiful polished Oregon-pine floor and stunning hand carved Leopard chest. There is enough room to accommodate two single beds in addition to the queen bed, so families will find this an excellent, affordable option for their stay in Swellendam. A fridge and flat screen television are additional comforts for guests in this room. The African safari style shower (en-suite) adds to the character of the room – if you have failed to catch sight of a leopard on your African adventure – this room affords you plenty of opportunities. Leopard Room dwellers can sit outside their room on the front stoep with a glass of local wine and catch the last rays of sunshine.
The room has TV, en-suite shower, complimentary tea / coffee / biscuits and liqueurs, and free wifi Internet access.
